Happy New Year 🥳
The car of the year for 2023 is...
The car of 2023 is...
The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3RS.
I mean what did you expect? The car has freakin DRS! It produces 1,895 pounds of downforce at 177 mph.
That’s like 10 average size adult males crammed into the car.

Of course, you can’t order one right now unless you agreed to some very naughty things with your Porsche sales person. If money isn’t an issue, you can fork over close to $500,000 on the “used” market.

If you want to learn more about this impressive machine, check out The Smoking Tire’s review. Matt talks about why he thinks this is more car than anyone that is not a real race car driver, should buy.
Second Place
Lotus Emira
For the looks and genuinely trying to remain a driver’s car by offering a manual transmission and staying close to its roots. You will start to see more of these on the road. They will be the new Cayman and definitely competes with it. Make sure to tick the Cup 2 tire option as well as the sport suspension.
Third Place
Ford Mustang Dark Horse
Great track numbers when compared to direct competitors (which are going away). A $70,000 Mustang might be a hard pill to swallow, but with Ford introducing the $300,000 Mustang GTD, some might consider this a bargain.
